SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 32
(By Senators Blatnik, Bowman, Tomblin, Mr. President,
Jackson, Schoonover, Love, Sharpe, White, Walker,
Buckalew, Kimble, Whitlow, Anderson, Manchin,
Oliverio, Miller, Minear, Craigo, Wiedebusch, Macnaughtan,
Boley, Helmick, Ross, Wooton, and Bailey)
Commending the principals, teachers, staff and students of
schools selected by the West Virginia department of
education for recognition as "Blue Ribbon Schools" and
"Schools of Excellence".
Whereas, Sherman Junior High, Boone County; Greenbrier East
High, Greenbrier County; Bridgeport Middle, Harrison County;
Andrew Jackson Middle, Kanawha County; Princeton Senior High,
Mercer County; South Junior High, Monongalia County; Wheeling
Park High, Ohio County; Preston High, Preston County; Winfield
High, Putnam County; and Hundred High, Wetzel County, are all
recognized as "Blue Ribbon Schools"; and
Whereas, Boone Kindergarten Academy, Sherman Junior High,
Boone County; Greenbrier East High; Bridgeport Middle; Overbrook
Elementary, Andrew Jackson Middle; Buffalo Grade, Logan County; Sand Hill Elementary, Marshall County; Princeton Senior High,
Mercer County; South Junior High, Monongalia County; Wheeling
Park High, Ohio County; Belmont Elementary, Pleasants County;
Hurricane Town Elementary, Putnam County; Academy Primary, Upshur
County; and Wyoming County Vocation School are all recognized as
West Virginia "Schools of Excellence"; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the students, principals, teachers and staff of all of
the above listed schools are congratulated for their outstanding
achievements; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby requested to
forward a copy of this resolution to all principals of the above
listed schools.
